TIME FOR GOOD NEWS

Our land has been married to bad news Owing to the trending happenings That every prophet now talks like Jeremiah; A man destined to pour out doom from his mouth. The raging war, injustice, hunger, pain and others That parade on our streets like cheap harlots Have made the sun to shade his tears more on earth But amidst these whiling dusts, I see ahead a blissful path. I am the New Testament Isaiah From my mouth, I also pour out fire Not to burn, but to purify Not to curse, but to beautify. Sorrow has tarried in the night But joy will come like the dawn, very bright “Believe in Him and believe also in Me,” He said For in no distant time, you will be paid.
