I Deserve A Statue More Than Jacob Zuma- Robert Mugabe Writes Rochas

Image
President Zuma's statue Dear Rochas,   My hatred for the Western media is a global secret. I have personally boycotted them for over two decades. I would have maintained my blissful presumption that their flagship cable television has long gone extinct, if it were not for a recent event that had to do with your person.   You may not know but I discovered ‘’fake news’’. I discerned the West’s practice of fact-bending journalism and outed them long before the internet emerged and popularized ‘’fake news’’. This is the real reason they portray me as a buffoon, the humanoid baboon that reduced Zimbabwe from a food basket to a banana republic.   Notwithstanding my aversion for the Western press, some of my aides insisted, even at the risk of their jobs, that I permit them to monitor the enemy channels so they can serve me more useful briefing papers. I demurred at first, but later

I am a curious being Wondering in ignorance I want to know Since “man is born to know”- Aristotle. I beseeched the moon I bribed the stars I went before the harsh eyes of the sun But all were more ignorant than me. I walked and walked But on the road of my village I met a man named John But not the one called the Baptist.  I asked him, ‘ Onyekachi’ - Who is greater than God? And he started to preach like John the Baptist: “Chi- God is a being ever supreme His power is greater than power itself His voice is louder than voice itself And His name is famous than name itself.” My head became filled Having met John A man that answered my question: Onyekachi - Who is greater than God? Please if you see Onyechefula John Onyekachi Tell him these words of mine: “Having taught me the meaning of ‘ Onyekachi’ May Chi- God, bless you before the sun rises And may your light shine even after sun set. “May your new age, bring you to

IRON SHARPENS IRON

Image
He is a believer Indeed a reader of the word Having heeded to the bible Then why do you want to crucify him? He chose a saint as his mentor What is wrong with that? A saint that sinners accuse While he is undisturbed as he enjoys his sainthood. A saint that has a stainless record But the heathen still accuse him of doing 738 miracles: Ranging from fraud, racketeering and money laundering That there amounts could be used to feed this hungry world. Since iron sharpens iron What concerns a monk with a Casanova? Or a nun with a seductive lap dancer? Or even an angel with a fallen angel? His name is Zuma and he made his monument to stand in Owerri And to live longer than the ancient Zuma Rock Why shouting for making him a Chieftain in Igbo land? Don’t you believe in ‘One Africa’? Why shouting for lavishing honours on him? He decorated him with the Imo Merit Award and you are talking But you still believe in Grace- an unmerited favour
