WE ARE WAITING FOR YOUR BILLION BILLION

We’re waiting for your billion billion
We’re waiting for your million million
That will be announced to us by your prophet;
A messenger that is more truthful than the sinless angel.

We’re waiting for your billion billion
We’re waiting for your million million
Because our ears are already itching
After all, no truth or lies blocks the ears.

We’re waiting for your billion billion
We’re waiting for your million million
You used to appease the raging rats
That invaded your office while you tarried in your health excursion.

We’re waiting for your billion billion
We’re waiting for your million million
You used to buy exotic ‘rat meals’
Instead of patronizing your sheep
Hawking our Aba made ‘Otapiapia’ on the streets with empty stomachs.

We’re waiting for your billion billion
We’re waiting for your million million
You used to sweep away the rats’ mess
Plus their urines that using detol, water and your broom could have done the magic.

We’re waiting for your billion billion
We’re waiting for your million million
You used to fly in workers from the moon
Instead of using our local workers
That could fix your air conditioner and rebrand your furniture.

I know you’re a grey-haired leader
Blessed with truthful conscience
But since the wicked jackals and hyenas are still dinning with you
Therefore, we are waiting for your billion billion
We waiting for your million million.

Please before I forget, in my dream today
I saw no rat dancing in your office
So was the rats’ saga the usual “the more you look, the less you see” politics
The wicked jackals and hyenas have been playing on us?
Anyway, don’t mind my dream
Since Anopheles mosquitoes and Salmonella typhi have been our usual guests.

‘Otapiapia’ is rat poison
‘Rat meals’ is rat poison ironically used.
Sheep represents the citizenry
‘Hyenas’ and ‘Jackals’ represent the cabals in Aso Rock
Moon represents abroad
Anopheles mosquitoes and Salmonella typhi are pathogenic organisms that cause Malaria and Typhoid respectively.

RATS RULING A NATION Hunger engulfed a wealthy kingdom Anger began to walk naked on the streets singing its anthem The poor cry and stone the rich with heavy words While the rich cry, but still cruise their loots. Don’t kill yourself Life is a sweet honey The dead wish for its taste So why would you kill yourself? Don’t kill yourself Life is created for bliss That you won’t find in the other side Especially as you want to end your life yourself. Don’t kill yourself Life doesn’t have a spare Especially when suicide sowed a seed It has a destination of torment. Don’t kill yourself Though sometimes life maybe double-barreled A little suffering, a little joy Just endure, joy comes after mourning. Don’t kill yourself Only onto Him, cast your worries Because He cares for you And can do wonders to surprise your eyes. BUT OJUKWU NEVER TOLD US On that Monday morning that NEPA became a saint And blessed my area on like before So reluctantly I prepared to set out from my tent Since he was to do a live broadcast after his voice was missing for three full moons. It was 7:00am and NTA sang the national jingle Followed by his beautiful face that his sickness had starved us And behind his throne was the national flag that stood still Then he opened his gap-toothed mouth to calm our nerves.
