RATS RULING A NATION

RATS RULING A NATION

Hunger engulfed a wealthy kingdom
Anger began to walk naked on the streets singing its anthem
The poor cry and stone the rich with heavy words
While the rich cry, but still cruise their loots.

She became sicker and couldn’t sing
As unknown sickness caressed the King
And since her hospitals are still under-aged to handle his case
His ‘eagle’ took him to the ‘heaven on earth’ to be treated by the ‘angels’.

Days came and died
Weeks came and never survived
The trending full moon died as well
And another one was born, still he never told his ‘angels’ farewell.

Hunger wore heavy war shield and fought innocent stomachs
Hate speeches preach gospels on her busy streets
Quest for a referendum on everyone’s lips
Still his voice was stolen on his sick bed by the wicked ‘Hyenas’ and ‘Jackals’.

Animals had an emergency convocation
And concurred never to dance the tone played by hunger and starvation
Since the wicked ‘Hyenas’ and ‘Jackals’ are eating the nation
So in solidarity, rodents took war to Aso Rock against their depravation.

They mobbed his palace
And sat on his golden throne without cowardice
They formed their government and constitution
And with immediate effect, they began to rule the nation.

His ‘eagle’ later brought him back
After a centenary-days plus he left her famous airline park
But on entering his office, he faced conundrum
As he saw that dedicated rodents were ruling his kingdom.

{‘Hyenas’ and ‘Jackals’ = the cabals in Aso Rock
‘Heaven on earth’ = London
‘Angels’ = London doctors
‘Eagle’ = the Presidential Jet}

  3. Kudos Bro, great piece! Is rather shameful and disheartening to how much our country has decayed with mindless and senseless gullible leader transcending this country into a stage for play and jamboree, why won't other nations make a mockery and caricature of our country...... it really hurts.

    1. My dear, it hurts as you said. Before the eyes of the world, we are now vied like outcasts because of what we have caused ourselves. I pray we wake up from this disheartening dream. Thanks for reading deep.
