He was killed with a sharp arrow A hot one that pierced his bone marrow What an untimely death for the innocent! What a doom for the one everyone seems to profess! “I love you” was on his lips As he positioned his lips for a ‘religious kiss’ Her heart was turned on And she fell in love with a man full of fun. Love was seen flying in the air And both chased him with open hands He was a man of beautiful words; A costly commodity every woman would purchase. Days tuned into months And she paid the love of her life a visit- not a sin I don’t know what happened between then But after she went home shading tears of regret. God is love And the giver of love But since He is immortal and can’t be killed They never killed love, but mere infatuation. Questions: What could have caused her crying? What ...
